The Scroll Project- I wanted to commence this project a year ago having bought a roll of wallpaper border from the DIY mongers. You know how it is though, right? Things get left behind, misplaced, forgotten about. No more... Now is the time. My aim is simple - draw on the back of it (the plain side) cramming it full of, well, anything I like. No specific theme, just visual diarrhea. A drawing rendition of Pulp Fiction. A less than sensical Bayeaux Tapestry... on paper. The roll measures in at 26.5 x 500 cm (0.265 x 5 metres). I'm not working to any time scale. I just want to do something without the constraints of normal ISO paper sizes. Something that rewards me with light relief from working to outside briefs. I hope the result will be something interesting and awesome to look at. Here I will document my progress. I am using the tag #scrollproject on Twitter.
